Sol Y Luna in Hendersonville

This Cali-Mex restaurant is the best around this area! The fajitas are REALLY good, and the portions are enough to feed 2 people. Service is great, and the staff is friendly & helpful. I would recommend this place to family and friends any time!

1st time there it was great we have lived here 15 years and this was the best Mexican food we found in hendersonville.

The food was ok. Nothing too impressive. The bar is very small. It is convenient for the neighborhood folks. Maybe it was just an off night for the restaurant but with so much competition in the Mexican food cusine in this area, I would think it would be a goal to be on point all the time.

Always good! I've Never had a bad meal or poor service in all the many times I have been here. Get the table side guacamole...it's fabulous!! The margaritas are always spot on.

Great service and even better food!!! I would recommend this for anyone who would like a lovely date night or just a spot to go with food friends and family.

The restaurant is is very spacious and has a warm friendly atmosphere. The waiting staff are excellent and on top of everything you need. The food is always good, and I highly recommend the jumbo shrimp cocktail. Definitely a nice addition to laurel park.

Had a Mexican chicken salad. It was delicious. Service could not have been better and the margaritas were exceptionally good. Love Sol y Luna.

First time eating at Sol Y Luna and we will return. Our waitress was so friendly. The burritos were huge! I got the Sol Y Luna burrito 🌯 and it was so flavorful. I couldn’t finish It but ate more than I planned because it was good. They serve a bean dip with their chips.

the food tasted like y'all done cooked it in the microwave last night. my friends mom found a dead bug in her salsa! the beans made tasted like fart. the rice made her sister sick and the food wasn’t even hot!!! please work on your food.

Taco's were great. The salsa bar has all fresh and tasty dips. Our waitress, Joseline was fantastic!

Hand rolled cheese enchiladas with seasoned Spanish rice and charro beans. Dinner was served piping hot, fresh and authenticity delicious. The chips and bean dip are the star of the show. Great hot and fresh chips with house made bean dip that is absolutely fabulous.

Barbacoa was good and staff all wore masks.

Consistently excellent experience.I make everybody I know try this place when we pass through the area. The food is always great, it's not expensive, the staff is excellent and the quality is top notch. They don't skimp on portion sizes, provide you with bean dip, chips, and salsa free of charge. From what I've seen, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Very clean and convenient restaurant. They provide big portions and for inexpensive prices. We loved the menu a lot and the waiters were super welcoming and informative. Highly recommended.

We discovered this amazing place after church one Sunday. The menu items are amazing. The restaurant is really clean and so are the restrooms which is always a plus. The service was excellent. You don't feel rushed at all. My husband said the steak fajitas were some of the best he has ever had because the steak was so tender.

My wife and I love eating here. There is a wide variety of dishes on the menu and the staff is excellent!

We grew up eating wonderful "Mexican" and "Spanish/Native American" foods in Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas. We moved to Western North Carolina and keep searching for such foods here. No luck - until we dined at Sol y Luna. The menu choices are hit and miss, but some items are really quite good. They offer excellent guacamole made table side. Their Barbacoa entre is excellent, approaching Carne Adovada - which we are still looking for. They only have refried beans, but we would rather have lower fat and tastier "charro" beans. Chips and bean dip are free and there is a free salsa bar. We dined in a group. Some loved their meals, but some thought their choices were very greasy. The menu is LARGE so you can find something you'll like. The service was outstanding, from being greeted on arrival to attentive table service. We will return and sample other items.
